AMCA is currently designing a mock expedition working with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) South East Branch to undertake research on conservation priorities and implementing our research to date, while working with a mixed inclusive group.
This mock expedition will allow us to make sure everything is in place for implementation in more remote locations.
The benefit of this activity is that we can simulate the remoteness but can fall back on established medical, rescue and communication fascilities should we require them. It will also allow us to identify when such circumstances could occur in the field and allow us to work to avoid/reduce these risks.
