United Arab Emirates Youth Environmental Conference

In January 2004, AMCA International was invited to attend "The Environmental Global Youth Gathering". We were asked to represent Global disabled youth. The aim of the conference was to promote investment in Youth for sustainable development.

The objectives was to spread awareness on sustainable development, encourage environmental tourism, spread awareness on global environmental issues, unite youth of the world for cultural understanding, establish an Environmental Youth Team for West Asia.

AMCA International role was to promote how through environmental projects disabled youth could be empowered and enabled. Caroline Walsh, Director and Founder delivered the key note speech on the second day. The subject of this talk was working together for the environment/a personal experience

This was a very productive and fruitful conference. AMCA International will continue to work with the conference organisers, EDA to continue to enable and empower disabled persons through project development.
